St. Vincent and the Grenadines are located 1600 miles southeast of Miami. The closest neighbors are Grenada (75 miles to the south), St. Lucia (24 miles north), and Barbados (100 miles east.) Temperatures average 78 degrees year around, and there is no stormy season because of the islands' southern Caribbean location.

Wedding Requirements St Vincent & the Grenadines

To get married in St. Vincent or one of the Grenadine islands is legally very simple. Normally you need 3 days residency but under special licence you can apply for a marriage license to permit a non resident to be married after one day.

The main problem is you will need to apply in person in St Vincent - no matter which island your ceremony is. Often hotel resorts & wedding coordinators hire a plane or boat to make this possible.

St Vincent & the Grenadines Marriage license laws state that the only documents required are your passports unless you are divorced - then you will also be required to present your final divorce papers.

All documents must be translated into English.
