There are many amazing locations for a St Lucia wedding. Most couples choose to get married on the beach in St Lucia or get married at their hotel with an inclusive wedding package. St Lucia is the second largest of the former West Indies Associated States, lying between Martinique and St Vincent in the Windward Islands chain of the Caribbean.
St. Lucia has many faces for a visitor to be inspired and fulfilled by. Its most famous and breathtaking sight has to be the Pitons in the southwest: twin peaks rising from the water. From Soufriere in the southwest you can drive to the entrance of La Soufriere volcano with its bubbling sulphur hot springs, rich in minerals.
Marigot Bay is a pretty, picturesque harbor where Dr Doolittle was filmed. Castries, the capital is about 20 minutes drive from the main beach areas on the Northwest coast where the beaches are relaxed, the harbor busy and the nightlife active.

To arrange your St Lucia wedding can be relatively simple.
As long as you are legal to marry and have the correct documents, there will be no problems. Often it is wise to use a professional wedding company to arrange your wedding but you can arrange the wedding yourself.
St Lucia legal wedding requirements
It is quite easy to get married in St Lucia. For a wedding licence & permission to get married you just need to be in St Lucia for at least four days before your wedding. However you can pay more for a St. Lucia marriage Special License which requires no residency period & can be done in one day. Applications need not be done in person.
To get married in St Lucia you will need to prove you are who you say you are & that you are free to marry.
For this you will need to take with you to St Lucia:
Passport
Birth Certificate
Decree Absolute (if one of the parties is divorced)
In the case of a widow/widower a Death Certificate of first spouse is required
If a name has been changed, a Deed Poll is required
If one of the parties is under the age of 18, evidence of a consent of parents is required in the form of a sworn affidavit stamped by a Notary Public.
This process is relatively simple which makes getting married in St Lucia so much easier.
