Overview
Rarotonga is the largest of the islands and hosts the international airport, and Avarua, the main town, hosts a good choice of restaurants, hotels, banks and shops.

There are many wedding locations to choose from, including lush tropical gardens scented with exotic flowers to white sand beaches lapped by turquoise waters.
The weather is tropical. Summer, between December and April is hottest & more humid with some risk of cyclones. Winter is May to November. Swimming, kayaking and snorkelling are almost mandatory.

You can marry in many stunningly beautiful locations outside, beaches, chapels - or by your hotel pool if you wish.

Church weddings are possible as well. The waiting period is three days residency on the islands before a ceremony can go ahead.
